In the spirit of gratitude, unity, and shared mission, the Congregation of the Holy Spirit joyfully hosted a special Fellowship Dinner for Sponsors at Mater Misericordiae Parish, Port Harcourt.
The evening was a beautiful gathering of friends, benefactors, and supporters whose generosity continues to strengthen the mission of the Church and the formation of future missionaries. It was a moment filled with warmth, joyful conversations, laughter, prayer, and heartfelt appreciation for all those who continually walk with us in faith and love.
Through your unwavering support, countless seminarians are given the opportunity to grow in their vocation and prepare for lives dedicated to serving God’s people across the world. Your kindness and sacrifices remain a powerful testimony of faith in action and a living example of Christian charity.
The Fellowship Dinner was not only a celebration of partnership but also a reminder that together, we are building hope, nurturing vocations, and sustaining the missionary work of the Spiritans.

2026 annual convention of the Holy Ghost Vocation Movement.
The Annual General Meeting of the Holy Ghost Vocation Movement is more than just a gathering — it is a moment of faith, unity, thanksgiving, and renewed commitment to the mission of nurturing vocations in the Church. Every year, members, supporters, and friends of the Spiritan family come together to strengthen the bonds of fellowship and contribute meaningfully to the formation of future missionaries.
This year’s gathering was a beautiful expression of unity, faith, and shared mission as we welcomed representatives from twelve (12) different zones across the South-East and South-South regions of Nigeria. The atmosphere was filled with love, fellowship, and a renewed commitment to supporting vocations in the Church.
Your overwhelming donations and contributions — including bags of rice, beans, garri, and other food items — are more than material gifts; they are seeds of hope sown into the lives and formation of our seminarians. Through your kindness, you continue to become active partners in raising future missionaries and servants of God for the Church and humanity.
With hearts full of gratitude and joy, we sincerely appreciate every member, supporter, and family whose generosity and commitment made the Annual General Meeting 2026 a remarkable success.

Highlight: 2025 Holy Ghost Vocation Movement Annual Convention
The 2025 Annual Convention of the Holy Ghost Vocation Movement was held with great spiritual fervour at the Chapel of Conversion, Awo-Omamma, on May 17th, 2025.
Themed “Here I Am, Send Me” (Isaiah 6:8), the convention brought together hundreds of members, clergy, and vocation-minded youths from across the country for a four-day encounter with God.
Key Highlights:
- Spirit-filled Liturgies: Daily Masses and devotions rekindled the fire of divine calling in participants.
- Powerful Talks & Teachings: Speakers addressed vocational discernment, spiritual growth, and the role of youth in the Church.
- Testimonies & Sharing: Participants shared life-changing experiences and renewed commitment to answering God’s call.
- Adoration & Healing Sessions: Deep moments of prayer, reflection, and outpouring of grace.
- Commissioning of New Members: A special blessing was given to aspirants ready to begin their vocational journey.
The 2025 convention ended with renewed zeal, deeper unity, and a strong mandate to carry the fire of the Holy Ghost into the world.

2025 Priestly/Diaconate Ordination
On the 9th day of August 2025, the Holy Ghost Vocation Movement under the Congregation of the Holy Spirit (C.S.Sp.) was privileged to witness her 27 worthy children on their journey to the Priesthood, as they were bestowed the sacred gift of Holy Orders.
17 candidates were raised to the order of the Diaconate, and 10 candidates were raised to the order of the Presbyterate(priesthood).
Through your prayers and generous support, these men have embraced their lifelong missions in service to God and His Church.
